3 best Mulberry recipes for beginners

 Mulberry or shahtoot is a delicate, sweet and a beneficial fruit to have during the late spring or early summer season. This year I decided to share 3 best shahtoot or mulberry recipes to give the fruit the credit it deserves. So, I have made the famous Hyderabadi malai shahtoot recipe, a delicacy that is made during festive occasions especially a wedding and it is so rich and tasty that you will understand why it is a delicacy because the rich malai, cream, and other ingredients used makes it so special. 

The other recipe that I made using mulberry is the viral coconut coffee with a twist with fresh mulberry puree. Trust me coffee with coconut water is really the best new combination out there. And if you haven't tried it yet you are missing out a great combination. The recipe is really simple and just requires 4 ingredients. 

The final mulberry recipe that I shared was one of the best breakfast recipes out there. The overnight oats and I made them purple with mulberry paste. As much as I love eating overnight oats, they are so easy breakfast fix for a quick morning meal and they are so versatile. So, with mulberry in season, I decided to make overnight oats with mulberry.


Hyderabadi Malai Shahtoot - 


Festivities or no festivities this recipe deserves all the praises especially if you love your cream, milk, paneer and everything creamy. The recipe is fairly simple with my twists and my version of Hyderabadi malai shahtoot to eliminate the guilt of eating so many calories, at least a little.


All you need is -


Half a cup mulberry or shahtoot

4 tbsp malai

125 ml fresh cream

Condensed milk, as per taste

2 tsp milk powder

8-9 dry roasted makhana or foxnut, powdered

Handful of chopped almonds

2 tbsp natural Greek yogurt

Super refreshing viral coconut coffee with fresh mulberry paste or puree. The coconut water coffee is so viral because it is absolutely amazing in taste and it is actually really addictive. I have made it like more than 30 times already with store bought coconut water but try it with chilled fresh coconut water to get maximum benefits and natural taste.


All you need is -


Half a cup mulberry

2-3 tsp honey

250 ml coconut water

Ice cubes

1 shot filter coffee, hazelnut flavor

pansy flower, for garnish (optional)

I absolutely love oats for my breakfast and overnight oats are actually time saver for a quick or rush morning when skipping breakfast seems like the only option. But if you have your indulgent, naturally flavored overnight oats stocked up in your refrigerator, all you have to do is grab it and rush out. A must try recipe and a must have stock up for a week breakfast recipe idea.


All you need is -


Almost 1 cup oats

75 gm natural Greek yogurt

12-15 mulberries

honey, to taste

1 Hazelnut filter coffee shot

2 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp cinnamon powder 

Stevia leaves, for garnish (optional)
