A best alternative for regular Indian sweets. For a person who has sweet tooth and, intolerance to gluten or lactose then this recipe is the one for you. It is packed with goodness of seeds, carrots hidden that you can even feed your kids if they are picky eaters.
A vegan and gluten free ladoo recipe that is a must try. Chocolate flavor is my favorite and anything chocolate and sweet is tempting and irresistible. You can even call these Gluten-free oats energy balls that are packed with protein and good nutrients.
The best part is these ladoo can be stored in an airtight container and can be kept inside a refrigerator for 10-15 days. You can always make them in bulk. Also, these are both gluten and lactose free, the new normal that you will feel less guilty after indulging them than after eating any other sweet. I personally never count calories and always choose to eat at home and opt for healthier options and trying to stay active throughout the day. At the end of the day guilty pleasure? Why not!
This recipe takes less of your time and is less oily than Gond ke ladoo or pinni that every Indian family makes during winters. So, why don't you try a recipe for a change for your family that add carrot and seeds to the ingredients and make it different, new flavored and just better.
I have used coconut paste in this recipe that was my first attempt to make coconut butter. Thus, this coconut paste makes this recipe vegan and healthy at the same time.
Another amazing recipe for healthy ladoo that you can try is Coconut ladoo. It has two flavors plain and chocolate. Do try them.
