Dark Chocolate Coffee Cheesecake | Glutenfreewhisk
For all the dessert lovers as I said earlier that this beauty will be made again, so here it is the absolutely tempting and luscious mocha flavored dessert that will definitely pull you out of your laziness to the kitchen to try this out. At this crucial time of the outbreak of COVID-19, everyone is requested to stay safe and stay at home, eat at home and take all the necessary precaution to keep yourself and people around you safe. So, for all the dessert lovers this no bake cake will be the perfect recipe that will not fail you and you can indulge in your own creation and not go out.
I have posted the same recipe earlier but this time I have made a few changes that makes it easier but not really, as it earlier was also quite simple recipe to follow. I have not added the slurry of refined flour that I added in my earlier recipe and it didn't make much of a difference. Also, I have reduced the quantity of coffee to one spoonful as I have used Mocha flavored Chocolate instead. And the most important thing that I did was that I was more and more patient and it has set so good that it made me really ecstatic and I can guarantee that if you make it you will feel the same.
I wasn't planning to post this recipe again and I wanted to add the changes in the earlier posted recipe of "Dark Chocolate Cheesecake with Oreos" but then I thought it will be really unfair with this gorgeous picture that I have clicked of the cake, so I planned to post it again.
RECIPE:
Ingredients:
For the Cake Base:
20-25 Oreo Chocolate Cookies
70 gms Butter, softened
For Chocolate Coffee Filling:
120 gms Dark Chocolate, I have used Mocha Flavored Chocolate
250 ml Cream
2 tbsp Honey
1 Spoonful Instant Coffee
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
20 gms Butter

Ingredients:
For the Cake Base:

70 gms Butter, softened
For Chocolate Coffee Filling:

1 Spoonful Instant Coffee
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
20 gms Butter
METHOD:
- To make the base, grind the cookies and butter in a food processor. Press the mixture in the cake tin evenly and allow is to cook and set in refrigerator.
- For the filling, in a deep pan pour all the ingredients and heat the pan till the chocolate melts and everything is combined. Switch off the heat and, mix it well.
- Pour the mixture over your set base and refrigerate again for minimum of 9 hours. Demould the cake and serve in slices.
Note: For decoration I have used star shaped candies. You can chose anything according to your liking. You can always adjust the honey according to your liking for the sweet in the cake as I like it a bit dark, so I have added accordingly.
I waited for my cake to set overnight, and the results were great.
