Chocolate Chip Cookies
Home made cookies are really different from the cookies that we buy from market, Isn't so? The best part about freshly baked cookies is that you know the ingredients where no additives and preservatives are added, they are fresh, warm, soft, big and fat direct from the oven. Try the recipe and you will know for yourself the pleasure of home made cookies.
I am making a batch of eggless cookies with my favorite flavors Vanilla and Chocolate. I have added raisins on top for decoration to make them more tempting. It is really a very simple recipe and cookies only take about 10-12 minutes to bake so you can bake them anytime with your cup of tea and they stay fresh in an air tight container for 5-6 days at room temperature in winters and 3-4 days in summers.
The recipe is simple with just few ingredients and this time I am using plain flour (maida) instead of wheat flour (which I happen to use in maximum of my cakes). You can make the cookies with any one of the ingredient and once you do you will find the difference yourself. So wear your aprons, get your baking weapons out, follow the recipe and you are good to have an amazing tea party at your home with your favorite people, with your favorite flavors. #Bake #Indulge.

Handful of Chocolate Chips
Milk as required to knead a dough

METHOD:
- Pre-heat the oven at 180C. Grease a baking tray with butter and set aside.
- Take all the cookie ingredients in a bowl and knead a semi-tight dough with milk using hands or the food processor. Once done make small balls of the dough of almost same size and flatten each on your palm to give a round cookie shape. Don't make them very thick (as the cookies will rise and they will remain unbaked from center at the given time) or very thin ( as they will become brown from the edges and will become crisp).
- Once done arrange then a bit far from each other on the greased baking tray, decorate with chocolate chips and raisins and bake them for 10-12 minutes in a pre-heated oven.
Note: Your can use any nut like almonds, cashews, walnuts etc to decorate.
You can even roll out the complete dough and cut the cookies of desired shape using a cookie cutter.
