Chocolate Fudge Balls

For me the most tempting ingredient ever is Chocolate and using this same sinful ingredient I am making this amazingly quick and simple Fudge ball recipe that is my go to recipe for my sweet cravings. This is a one pan recipe that just requires a few ingredients and a lot of patience as this recipe needs time to set in refrigerator but the wait is worth waiting for. I have opted to decorate my fudge balls with a lot of things and my favorite were the one with coconut and the one with colored chocolate vermicelli. These fudge balls are filled with crunchy chopped nuts that gives it a nice texture with the silkiness of condensed milk and chocolate.

These bite size fudge balls are a good dessert option when their is a party at your home or you can wrapping it up in a cute box to give it to a friend for their birthday. These are easy to make and perfect go to dessert so don't just read, try it out, it is not bake, no oven, egg free recipe so you have no excuse this time. Make it and share your recipe images with me in Instagram and I will come with more new exciting recipes.

INGREDIENTS:

For Chocolate Fudge:
80 gms Dark Chocolate
30-35 ml Condensed Milk
Chopped Nuts (Almonds, Cashews, Pistachio, or any nuts of your choice)
A pinch of green Cardamom Powder
20 gms Butter

For Garnish:
Chocolate Vermicelli
Grated Coconut
Grated Cashews
Mix of Cocoa Powder & Sugar
Rasins

METHOD:

  • In a thick bottom pan add chocolate, condensed milk and butter and allow the chocolate to melt slowly at a low flame, make sure the heat is not to high as it can lead to burning of chocolate.
  • Add the Cardamom powder, nuts and give it a stir with a silicon spatula in order to leave nothing in the pan.
  • Scrape this mixture out in a greased tin, even it out using the spatula and allow it to set in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • After an hour you can slice it in cubes or you can cut small pieces and roll then in a ball shape and decorate them with the above mentioned decoration.
  • To decorate, lightly roll the fudge balls with the desired decoration so that it covers the ball all over.
  • Refrigerate again so that the balls set for an hour or half then serve.
Note: The mixture can be a bit sticky so while making balls you can grease your hands with a bit butter and then roll out the fudge balls.
The mixture can take a longer to set so don't worry it will set as it has to set.😛
